DIY Greenery Globe Light Garland

With spring just around the corner, it’s time to start working on one of our favorite projects… florals! We’re partnering with Michaels for our March challenge to bring a bit of spring freshness to your space. And we also have a pretty amazing opportunity for all of you out there – so make sure you stick around until the end of this post!
String lights bring a magical glow anywhere they are hung – we love using them at get togethers & parties! Sadly though, those wires are simply an eyesore. Back in November, we shared a great way to pretty up string lights with a touch of gold spray paint! Now that spring is (slowly) making it’s way here, we wanted to add a floral touch to the lights for our spring & summer get togethers! Since we wanted to be able to use these lights for more than one get together, we used artificial greenery that we found at Michaels Floral Market so they’ll last all spring & summer long!DIY Greenery Globe Light Garland @themerrythought #michaelsmakersWhat you need:
-Assorted greenery and florals
-Wire cutters
-Floral wire
-Hot glue gun
-Globe light strand
DIY Greenery Globe Light Garland @themerrythoughtHow to make it:
-Use wire cutters to cut and separate greenery and florals into manageable pieces.
-Cut 10-20″ pieces of floral wire and start wrapping the base layer. We used large greens for our base layer.
-After the base layer is done, you can fill it in using the hot glue gun with small florals and extra greenery.
