Back when I was living in Colorado, there was this restaurant that served blistered shishito peppers for a few dollars during their happy hour. We would get them every time we went in and they were so good! It has been soo long since I had them so I decided to try to make my own batch at home using the air fryer. They turned out great and the spicy mayo with lime juice was pretty delicious as well!
Shishito peppers are pretty mild but you will get an occasional one that is kind of spicy. It’s kind of fun serving them and seeing who gets those random spicy ones! These air fryer shishito peppers would be an easy addition to add to your Super Bowl menu too – you could even cook them in batches throughout the day so there are always some fresh ones.
