Guess what today is?! The first Friday of the month! And you (probably don’t) know what that means… we’re sharing our monthly 5 minute craft! I only started doing this last month but I’m feeling good about staying on track with this series AND the crafternoon series! But This month I’m sharing this super easy 5 minute magnetic wooden shelf!
It’s just another easy project that I’m adding into my brother’s bathroom! He has an old medicine cabinet with the metal inside – which I had at my last apartment too! Have you ever seen this oldddd magnet organization project?! It honestly take just a few minutes to put together and you can add a bit of extra storage to your medicine cabinet! Plus this is the perfect project to use up a bit of scrap wood!
What you need for the magnetic wooden shelf:
- wood (mine was 2.5″x6″x.75″)
- 15mm forester bit
- drill
- 15mm magnets
- super glue
Basically just measure 2-3 places on the back of the board, and drill holes just deep enough that the magnets will lay flush with the outside of the board and glue magnets in place! You can watch all the steps in the video below! And be sure to subscribe to keep the 5 minute tutorials coming every month!
