Green Pineapple Smoothie

Green Pineapple Smoothie @themerrythought I don’t know who I’m becoming but I’ve been trying out a lot of healthy recipes lately. I know the green smoothie fad was crazy a few years ago but I just finally got around to trying out some of my own! And… they’re pretty delicious!
Green Pineapple Smoothie @themerrythought Green Pineapple Smoothie
1.5 cups baby spinach (These will blend better if you freeze them beforehand)
1.5 cups pineapple
1/2 banana
1/2 cup almond milk (unsweetened)
1/2 cup coconut water
1 cup ice

Throw it all in a blender and mix it up! You can freeze the leftovers in a popsicle maker for a sweet and healthy late night snack.
Green Pineapple Smoothie @themerrythought This one was Manda’s favorite, I’ll be sharing a Blueberry Mint green smoothie recipe (my favorite one) next week!

Yay! Thanks for this! We just got a vitamix blender for Christmas and have been trying all sorts of fruit smoothies, but I’ve been wanting to try a green one. Just wasn’t sure what to put in it! I’ll have to try this one!ReplyCancel

It’s healthy! But I’m honestly not sure if it helps with weight loss specifically or not.ReplyCancel

Trendy or not, green smoothies and drinks are delicious and oh so nutritious and healing. The next best thing is one can add almost anything to the ingredients to suit one’s taste. I mix mine up often. Sometimes it works, sometimes not. Even when the “taste” isn’t there they are always nutritious. I throw a handful of spinach in most of my smoothies for the added antioxidants. Spinach is mild tasting and doesn’t detract from the main ingredients.ReplyCancel
