2021 has officially made me an air fryer convert. I got one for Christmas and I finally get all the hype about it for the past few years. I’ve cooked at least 50% of my food in there since I got it – it’s amazing! I’ve made this garlic & herb salmon in the air fryer multiple times already and it is so much faster than the oven. I like my salmon to be pretty well done (because I’m weird about textures and most seafood in general) which takes a while in the oven. But in the air fryer I can get it well done with crisp edges in under 10 minutes! Plus covering anything in herbs, garlic, and butter is always a win, right?!
Perfect salmon in under 10 minutes!
- 1 piece salmon
- 1 tbsp butter
- 2 large leaves basil
- 3 stems parsley
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 slice lemon (optional)
Preheat air fryer to 400º. (For 2 minutes.)
Melt 1 tbsp butter in small bowl.
Chop basil and parsley into small pieces.
Crush clove of garlic.
Mix herbs and garlic into butter.
Season both sides of salmon with salt and pepper (And lightly with EVOO if desired.)
Spray air fryer with light coat of oil.
Set salmon inside air fryer and put a small amount of garlic & herb mixture on top. (And lemon slice if desired.)
Set for 6-8 minutes depending on how well done you prefer your salmon.
Remove from air fryer, top with more of the garlic & herb mixture and enjoy!
