Apparently it’s a popular drink over in Italy and it’s slowing starting to gain popularity here in the states. It’s a pretty simple drink, just espresso, simple syrup and ice, shaken together. It’s smooth, a little sweet and the perfect thing to sip while welcoming in these warmer days! I thought it was good as is, but if you’d like it a little sweeter, some sweetened condensed milk in it would be delicious! We made a few different rounds of these, using different espresso/sweetener combinations and the quality of your espresso really makes a difference, so definitely make/use the best kind you can!Caffè Shakerato
