By now you’ve probably realized how much we love simple crostini recipes. I started making air fryer crostini this fall though instead of using the oven because it’s so quick and they’re the perfect amount of crispy! Plus sometimes I just want a few fresh pieces for lunch or something and it just seems so much more simple to not get the whole oven going for three pieces of bread haha. But I did make a big batch of them for a party (and for this shoot) and it was still so easy to throw in a few batches and still they were all done in under 10 minutes!
Most crostini recipes that I used to use would just use oil and maybe a bit of salt and pepper but I like a little more fat and flavor to my food hahah! This recipe is still super easy but it does add in a bit of butter and fresh garlic and I think it makes all the difference!
- 1 baguette
- 1 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1 clove fresh garlic, minced
- salt & pepper, to taste
-
Slice baguette at an angle, about 1/3" thick per slice.
-
Melt butter.
-
Add oil, garlic, salt and pepper to butter and mix.
-
Brush mixture onto both sides of the baguette.
-
Place in air fryer at 375° for 3 minutes.
