“I’m Nuts About You” Walnut Valentine

"I'm Nuts About You" Walnut Valentine @themerrythoughtIf our four other valentines this week didn’t inspire you, here is another fun little valentine to make and fill with treats for little ones or a special gift for your sweetie. Head to the grocery store and pick up a bag of walnuts and you’re basically halfway done with this project already!
"I'm Nuts About You" Walnut Valentine @themerrythought How to make it: Use a saw or knife (carefully) to cut along the sides of the walnut until it cracks in half. Pull out the walnuts and then use sandpaper to smooth out the inside of the shell. You can paint the inside or leave it natural. Fill it with some goodies and tie it up!
"I'm Nuts About You" Walnut Valentine @themerrythought "I'm Nuts About You" Walnut Valentine @themerrythoughtI tied one up with a small tag and tried another one hot glued to a fabric card. I couldn’t decide which one I liked better!
"I'm Nuts About You" Walnut Valentine @themerrythoughtI’m sure one of your valentines would love to open one of these up and find some sweet handmade jewelry.

What amazing DIY Valentine’s Day gifts have you stumbled upon lately?
