I have TONS of notebooks laying around my house. A couple for project ideas, one for blog business info, one for bible study, one for prayer journaling, some for doodling, a small one to carry in my purse… basically just a lot. So I’ve been wanting to label them because they’re all just the same plain black journals at this point and I occasionally grab the wrong one as I head out the door to a meeting. So I decided to go with some leather labels now that I can do leather stamping! It’s a great way to personalize a nice Moleskine journal to give to some of your favorite friends too!
What you need:
–Notebooks
-Leather
-Scissors
–Alphabet Stamp Set
–Leather Punch
-Water
-Rag
-Hammer
–Glue
How to make it:
-Cut leather into desired shapes.
-Dampen the leather slightly with water.
-Place a piece of scrap hardwood underneath the leather and stamp the letters.
-Glue onto notebook and let dry
