DIY Hand Towel Ring

DIY Towel Ring @themerrythoughtIt was the tiniest update in my bathroom makeover that made the biggest difference for me. Switching out an old, junky towel ring for a simple, modern one felt like a huge update but only cost a couple dollars and only took a few minutes.

(Post Update: for those that have asked, these are now available in our shop for purchase! You can find them here!)DIY Towel Ring @themerrythoughtWhat you need:
Metal Ring (I painted mine copper to match my towel rack then finished with a waterproof clear coat.)
-Hot Glue Gun

How to make it:
Cut a strip of leather 6-8″ long. Bend in half and wrap around the metal ring. Use hot glue to secure the leather together around the ring. Nail to wall.

Very cute! Where did you find the materials? I just moved into an apartment without a towel holder and this would be a great solve without having to put too many holes in the wall.

Thanks! I bought my metal hoop at a local craft store and then spray painted it copper. I linked to a similar one that you can order off Amazon. The leather was leftover from other projects I had done, but you can find small pieces of leather at Joann’s or Michael’s for a couple dollars.ReplyCancel

Hi Anne – we’re working on a new format to display old posts…until then, Pinterest was the best way to do that. You can always click on one of the categories under the title to display all the posts within that group (DIY, Recipe, etc.).ReplyCancel
