Sneaking in one more ghost project before Halloween! These doily ghosts are the sweetest addition to add to your Halloween decor. And they’re super easy to make, so you can quickly make some before Halloween is here!
These ghosts are just like the cheesecloth ghosts I shared last year, but vintage doily style! And I made some of them floating. If you’ve got a drawer full of old doilies that you’re not sure what to do with (because really, what are we doing with doilies anymore?!), this is a great project for them! And it’s not permanent either, so you can wash them out and get your doilies back after Halloween if you want.
These ghosts also store well (as long as they don’t get crushed!), so you can keep them and bring them year after year if you want.

Supplies:
- doilies (try the thrift store!)
- glue or Mod Podge (I used Mod Podge)
- water
- jars or vase (or empty paper towel roll)
- round objects, like foam craft balls, balloons or balls
- plastic wrap
- fishing line
