I thrifted these jars a while back and they’ve been sitting in my cabinet, waiting for the perfect use for them. Turning them into these decorative Halloween salt jars turned out to be just what they seemed to be made for! They’re perfect for some Halloween candy! I love how easy this salt jar craft is!
You just need two things to make these salt jars – double sided adhesive paper and salt. Oh and jars of course! Decide what shapes you’ll go with, you can either draw or trace your shapes onto the paper. I used some cookie cutters as my templates (I used the ghost from the DIY Clay Ghost Garland). Then it’s cutting the shapes, peeling off the sticker paper backing, and filling it in with salt! How easy, and fun, is that?! I loved this craft!
These would be cute on small jars as favors for a Halloween party. Or a really cute way to display kids artwork, have them draw their designs and then cut that out. They can see their own drawings on the jars!
