This week I let myself take a break from my to-do list. I’m always trying to catch up on current projects or get ahead on the next ones and I end up missing out on life. So this week I took a few days to be up at the lake with my family that came up from North Carolina and a couple days exploring and hanging out with my big brother. It’s so refreshing to take time to be able to drive/hike/eat/visit… without hurrying along because work is waiting for me at home.
But now I have a lot of bridal shower prep ahead of me before the shower that I’m throwing for my cousin on Sunday. So here is a quick round-up to get my head back in the game!
The look. A sweet, soft backyard party.
The favors. DIY bud vases make beautiful decor and double as a pretty fantastic favor to send home with guests.
To drink. Some pretty drinks to sip on like this Grapefruit, Ginger, and Lemongrass Sake Cocktail.
To eat. These Lime and Hibiscus Madeleine Cookies would be a tasty (and gorgeous) addition to your table.
For wearing. This breezy floral dress would be a dream!
For the bride. A sweet little something for the bride.
