DIY Vintage Pumpkin Mask

I love looking through all of the vintage costumes that people used to wear. There are always so many bizarre and super creepy looking ones. But I love the simplicity of the things they would throw together to make them. So I decided to make a vintage pumpkin mask using paper mache! Inspired by the vintage costumes, I grabbed a bunch of cardboard and scraps I had on hand and put together this mask that anyone could make! And then I just paired it with a simple vintage skirt and basic top to keep the focus on the mask.

It turned out so cool and I love that it’s kind of creepy and the dark eyes give some Tim Burton-esque cartoony vibes. I’m a bit behind on my costumes for this year even though I have a couple more that I’m working on that will probably have to be shared next Halloween season. If you need some more cutesy Halloween decor or costume ideas for this year – we’ve got a lot of those too!
