World Down Syndrome Day is celebrated on 3/21 to symbolize a third copy of the 21st chromosome in those with Down Syndrome. On October 21, 2010 I was scared and didn’t know what life would be like with a little girl who had Down Syndrome. I have learned so much these past couple years and am happy to share with you a glimpse of what life looks like with a little girl who happens to have Down Syndrome…

She exudes pure joy, this little girl. My hope, my prayer, is that she grows up in a world of love and acceptance. Knowing she was created by a loving God and has so much to offer.
