I love this time of year, when it finally starts getting warm out again, the boys can be outside all the time (hallelujah!), a little sunshine and fresh doing our souls good. This time of year also brings a whole lot of busyness for me too. I feel like I’m just running from one thing to the next, going from project to project…I just want a night when I can sit on the couch and have nothing I need to be working on or prepping for! (Can that ever happen as a mama of three busy little boys?!) The work load for my job increases a lot for the next month or so, we’re wrapping things up for the end of our MOPS year, and it’s birthday madness time in our family (10 birthdays within 2 months…and that’s just immediate family!). So it’s good for me to stop and take the time to capture these small moments. To keep my perspective. To remind me that it’s not just about doing & going…it’s taking moments, even short moments, to stop and savor…to appreciate…
>>”baking” prep (using the term bake loosely here as I didn’t actually turn on my oven…)
>>running errands and waiting for prescriptions means a walk through the toy aisle
>>getting together with a couple friends and sharing treats…these Peanut Butter Cup Rice Krispies Treats are delicious! Make them!
>>this is the only flower that is blooming around my house…the ONLY one! 🙁

>>i have no idea what they were doing…i was sitting on the swing and looked over and they were just standing like this..staring at the chicken coop! haa! (and yes, Lincoln & Malacai are wearing the same shirt – it’s the Thursday shirt for their school…)
Stop and take the time to savor those merry moments! Have a lovely weekend!
