DIY Holiday Stovetop Potpourri

Today we’ve got an easy recipe for DIY holiday stovetop potpourri! It’s the first of five easy DIY gifts and wrapping ideas coming at you this week! Get excited – we’ve got some real goodies for ya!

There’s nothing better than a cozy, Christmas-y smelling house while you decorate or bake or just hang out in front of the Christmas tree. This stovetop potpourri will use up some extras from the orange garlands everyone is making along with some extra holiday ingredients. Then you’ll have a batch of gifts to give out to friends, teachers, delivery workers!

My mom used to dry a bunch of fruit and things before the holiday season. Then she’d mix them up with pinecones and things to make batches of potpourri. She would sell them in her little holiday pop-up shop. So I’m modernizing her old potpourri a bit rather than just being poured into a bowl to hang out in the living room for months like potpourri used to do. Hahah!
