DIY Gourd Vases

DIY Gourd Vases | The Merrythought If you’re planning any parties for this autumn, this is the perfect centerpiece! They’re so quick to make and simply adorable.DIY Gourd Vases | The Merrythought Just cut the top off the gourds (they’re pretty difficult to cut through – I made my dad cut them for me!) and scoop out all the guts. Fill them up with some water and nice flowers (or cabbage!) Mine have lasted for almost a week already and they’re still holding water and looking good!DIY Gourd Vases | The MerrythoughtDIY Gourd Vases | The Merrythought Go ahead, make a few of these beauties and dress up your table a bit.

I love this idea! How did you get the gourds to stand up on their own? I haven’t been able to find any that has a flat enough bottom to stand on their own.ReplyCancel

Mine were able to stand up on their own. You could always cut a small piece off of the bottom so that it can sit flat though.ReplyCancel
