In my usual fashion, I’m just finishing up my advent calendar! I wanted something simple this year and I always love an excuse to buy one of the mini trees from Wegmans. So this DIY ornament advent calendar was perfect! It works as just normal decor but also holds sweet little surprises inside! These old school gumball machine balls make the perfect secret advent calendar.
I filled mine with candy and activities and then added a tiny day number to the bottom of the ornaments in fine sharpie so I could coordinate which activities would be on specific days. You could also paint the numbers larger across the side or add small tags to the top of the ornament to show which day the ornaments are for. Just depends on the look you’re going for! I wanted mine to just look like an average ornament.
