DIY Holiday Bar Cart Garland

I’ve been working on getting my home ready for all the upcoming holiday parties, and I’m happy to say I finally got a bar cart! I’ve put it off for years! I think it’s the perfect piece to add to a space for entertaining. I went searching for one online at The Home Depot, browsed through the furniture & decor selection, and found this perfectly minimal beauty! They had so many options and styles online, which means I got to browse and order from my bed! Holiday decorating can seem a bit daunting for some people; just putting up a tree and stringing up some lights seems like more than enough. But, I’m here to tell you that you can turn a staple furniture piece like this into a beautiful holiday display in just a few minutes! I added this easy garland to my new bar cart, and it helped it perfectly transition into the holiday season! 

What you need:

• wrapped floral wire
• thin floral wire
• greenery
• wire cutting pliers
• zip ties

How to make it:

• Cut a piece of the wrapped floral wire long enough to go across the front and down both sides of your bar cart.
• Cut pieces of greenery and attach to the wire using small pieces of thin floral wire. 
• I started with one basic base layer of greens and then added more pieces in after the whole wire was covered.
• Attach to your bar cart using zip ties along the top.
• Trim ends of zip ties.
• Once it is in place, continue to fill in garland with more greenery until it has the look and shape that you want.
