pretzel snaps dipped in white chocolate with white chocolate drizzle and candy eyes to look like Halloween mummy

White Chocolate Mummy Pretzel Bites

Pretzel snaps, white chocolate and candy eyes make these mummy pretzel bites a super easy, kid-friendly Halloween treat to make.

Course Dessert

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1-2 teaspoons vegetable oil, optional*
  • 25 pretzel snaps
  • candy eyeballs

Instructions

  1. Add white chocolate chips and vegetable oil to a small microwavable bowl, stir to coat chips with oil.

  2. Microwave on high in 30 second increments, stirring after heating, until chocolate can be stirred smooth.

  3. Dip pretzels into chocolate, one at time, covering with chocolate. (Using a fork to dip the pretzel works well).

  4. Gently shake excess chocolate off over bowl, set pretzel on wax paper.

  5. Immediately place candy eyeballs on pretzel.

  6. Repeat with remaining pretzels, making sure to leave a little bit of extra melted white chocolate for the next step. (Or you can just melt more).

  7. Let the chocolate set.

  8. Pour the melted white chocolate into a plastic bag (make sure it's still warm and pourable), and cut a tiny part of the bottom corner of the bag off.

  9. Drizzle white chocolate over pretzels, making sure to go around the candy eyeballs.

  10. Let set and enjoy!

Recipe Notes

*I like to use oil to keep the white chocolate smooth as well as thin it out a little bit.
