Pretzel Ice Cream Sandwich Bites

Pretzels filled with ice cream to make ice cream sandwiches, both sweet and salty, a perfect summer treat.

Course Dessert

Ingredients

  • pretzel squares
  • your favorite ice cream (I used peanut butter, maple syrup, & caramel)
  • chocolate chips, to melt for the chocolate drizzle

Instructions

  1. Place a small scoop of ice cream on a pretzel square.

  2. Top with another pretzel square.

  3. Repeat until you have as many as you want.

  4. Place in freezer.

  5. Microwave chocolate chips until they can be stirred smooth. (You can add a tiny bit of vegetable oil to the chocolate chips before microwaving to help keep them smooth).

  6. Place in a ziplock baggie, cut off a small corner of the baggie and drizzle over pretzel ice cream sandwiches.

  7. Place back in freezer until ready to eat.
