Candied Cranberries

Powdered sugar candied cranberries are a delicious sweet and tart snack, with a satisfying crunch when you bite into them!

Ingredients

  • 12 ounce bag fresh cranberries
  • 1-1/2 cups lemon-lime soda (like Sprite or 7Up)
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 1 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Rinse and drain cranberries.

  2. Combine 12 ounce bag fresh cranberries, 1-1/2 cups lemon-lime soda and 1 cup orange juice in a large bowl.

  3. Cover and refrigerate for 12-24 hours.

  4. Preheat oven to 200ºF.
  5. Drain cranberries, but do not rinse.

  6. Add drained cranberries and 1 cup powdered sugar to a large plastic bag.

  7. Shake until cranberries are completely covered (if they are not completely covered, add a little more powdered sugar).

  8. Place cranberries on parchment lined baking sheet, making sure they are in a single layer.
  9. Bake for 5 minutes (do not over bake!).
  10. Remove and let cool to room temperature.
  11. Serve & enjoy!
  12. Cranberries can be stored in the refrigerator in an airtight container for a few days.
