We’ve thrown A LOT of baby and bridal showers over the years but this Market Bridal Shower just might be my all time favorite! This month I threw this bridal shower for my best friend and it was super simple to put together. (Once I cleaned out the house to have a bit more room for 25 people – ha!) I had a lot of help from our family when it came to making the food, which was amazing because I was coming straight from our bachelorette weekend. Plus the food making side of a party is my least favorite. We did a few simple DIY’s and found a bunch of adorable decor to help everything come together. I’ll list out everything we used below!

Table Settings for Market Bridal Shower:
For the tables I bought these perfect taupe gingham tablecloths from Target – they come in rectangle and round which was perfect for the different tables we used.
I bought some plastic cups that we can reuse for future parties and they worked really well and I think they’re a great quality and look for the price. These green ribbed tumblers and amber ribbed highball glasses were a sweet pair.
For the rest of the place settings, I did these adorable cream scalloped paper plates with simple gold disposable forks and these nude gauze dinner napkins. I just made a loose knot in the napkins and laid them on the center of the plates.
For decor down the table, I used a bunch of various vases I had on hand and added in some eucalyptus, ranunculus and baby’s breath we picked up at Trader Joe’s. Then I bought these 1/2 pint berry baskets and scattered them on the table and filled them with grapes, nuts, and candy.

Food:
We started with a large charcuterie board spread across the island. Tons of different veggies, fruits, nuts, crackers, cheese, and meats on there. The we had family make individual salads inside of mason jars. Manda made the adorable mini chicken salad croissants wrapped in this printed parchment paper and wrapped up with twine. We had a bunch of different cookies (my favorite cream wafers – the best for showers!) and some macarons. Then my cousin made mini pies for everyone at the party. We used 4″ disposable tins for the pies.
Decor
We used a bunch of vintage crates we had and a few newer crates that we stole from the boys’ rooms. I made the market awning using foam board, a hot glue gun, some tape and paint. It was super simple – but if anyone needs a tutorial, let me know! I made a simple sign for the wall using brown masking paper, a sharpie and some masking tape. We used more of the berry baskets and a bunch of fresh veggies to decorate as well as more flowers and greens.
Activities
We had a bunch of plain totes out with paints and brushes so people could paint their own market tote and bring it home to use for groceries! A few of us stayed for hours after the shower just painting our totes with little fruit and veggies designs.
Favors
And finally, for favors – we made these little honey jar favors using these jars, a large thing of honey. We put the honey in the individual jars and then topped them off with fabric from a local fabric shop. Then my cousin made a bunch of individual loaves of bread and we bagged them up in these bread bags. So everyone took a loaf and some honey home with them!
