One of the things I heard over and over after having my babies was enjoy this time, it goes by so fast. And it does. I have three little boys now. No babies. How did that happen? I blinked and my baby was celebrating his third birthday. I’m cheering on each new development and step towards independence they take (and enjoying the little bit of extra freedom it gives me), but my heart is also crying out for time to stop. To keep my babies little and never leave their mama’s side. I absolutely love the ages they are at right now. Old enough to not need my supervision constantly but still small enough to need me and let me love on them without a roll of their eyes. I know I’ll find good and bad at each stage they are at, but right now, my heart is full and content. I feel that this stage will always hold a special place in my heart.
We spent a couple days up at the lake over the long weekend. The boys love going there. Their favorite activity is throwing rocks into the water…I think they could do it for hours. I just try to soak up these moments of little boyhood. (Although, their big sister and big brother like to join in on the rock throwing too, so I probably have a lot of years left of soaking this in!) 🙂

A note on little ones fashion: I pretty much only buy clothes for the boys at thrift shops (and myself too!). I don’t like the idea of spending too much on clothes they will grow out of within a few months. But as you can see, I can find a variety of styles and brands at thrift stores.
Savor your moments! Manda
