Essential Oils

Let’s chat for a second about essential oils. They seem to be all the rage right now and super trendy. Am I just another one of those snake oil saleswomen jumping on the bandwagon? Umm, no; I’ve actually been using oils for years, before we knew they were so cool 😉. But I just might refer to myself as a snake oil saleswoman sometimes…because it makes me laugh. Here’s why I use oils…and talk about oils…and share DIYs using oils: they’ve made a huge difference in my life. Emotionally and physically. And though living a completely clean and healthy lifestyle sometimes feels like a goal I might never be able to reach, I’m aspiring to live well. And essential oils have been helping me get closer to that goal, one bottle at a time. Essential Oils - Starter Kit Diffuser Blend
I love using essential oils as a natural way to promote healthier living for my family. I use it to help ease symptoms when we’re not feeling good, I love diffusing them to make our home smell better, keep the air cleaner & healthier, and keep me a bit more calm & focused! And they’ve been great for adding to natural, homemade cleaning & beauty products.

Why Young Living? Because Young Living embraces a rigorous quality control standard to help ensure their products meet strict specifications. Not all essential oils are created equally. Young Living will never knowingly compromise by adding synthetics, contaminants, or cheap fillers, or by using unethical production practices. I’m using these oils in my home, on myself, on my children…this is an area that is definitely worth paying for the best so you can have peace of mind. (And I have used other “cheaper” oils in the past, hoping for the same results and did not get them!) They also do business responsibly – from sustainably sourcing plants to supporting local communities; I feel good spending money at a business striving to be and do better. You can read all about the details of that here.Essential Oils - Starter Kit Diffuser Blend

So how do you get these oils? My very first purchase was the Premium Starter Kit, which I highly recommend starting with. I know it’s a big purchase, but it’s definitely the best value for how many oils you get (like an amazing value!!), and gives you a great variety of oils to start using. Plus, it includes a diffuser, which is one of my favorite way to use the oils! However, you don’t have to buy the whole kit, if there’s just a few you want to start with, go ahead and buy those. Just note that you’ll only receive the wholesale price if you become a member. There’s no monthly fees to be a member, just a yearly minimum purchase of $50.
