Alright people, this is one of the quickest DIYs ever and they are so much fun! You’ll probably want to make a little batch for every person on your Christmas list!
What you need:
-Square dowel
–Scroll saw
–Belt sander
–Drill
–Graphite (2.0 mm)
-Super glue
*Optional – Paint
How to make it:
-Using the scroll saw, cut square dowel into pieces (I did varying lengths) and then sand down the rough edges.
-Drill a hole down through the center of each piece of dowel that is the same size as the graphite.
-Put a dab of super glue on the end of the graphite and push it into the hole you drilled. Give glue a couple minutes to dry and then break of the excess graphite.
-Use a band saw to sand down each side at the top until you have a point in the middle with the graphite visible.
-Now you can paint or customize them however you want then package them up and give them as a sweet little gift!
Malacai was loving them when I let him draw with them …one Christmas present done!
