DIY Mould and Deckle

Last year I shared how to make your own paper using egg cartons. I said that I’d share how to make the DIY mould and deckle I used a few weeks later… but, of course, I forgot! The other day I started to make another batch of paper for wedding prep (!!!) and remembered I should share this. So here it is! I used canvas frames from the Dollar Tree because it’s cheaper and simpler than buying wood and putting them together. But if you have scrap wood around, it would still be easy to make a frame any size you would like!

Materials Needed for DIY Mould and Deckle:

canvas frames (I got mine from the Dollar Tree)
pliers
flat head screwdriver
screen mesh
scissors
staple gun
duct tape
