DIY Mushroom Pumpkins

I’m a huge mushroom lover – not necessarily in my food because the texture freaks me out. But I love finding mushrooms growing out in the woods or on hikes. They are just so weird but delicate and adorable. I have loads of mushroom decor around the house but this year I decided I needed more for the fall season. So I turned some of our mini pumpkins into DIY mushroom pumpkins! Thankfully my husband loves mushrooms too and this was one of my projects that he was super excited about haha! I think they’ll look cute all the way through Thanksgiving too which is nice that they aren’t just for Halloween. I’m hoping since they just have tiny holes in them that they’ll last a lot longer than an actual carved pumpkin.

Materials Needed for DIY Mushroom Pumpkins:

  • assorted mini pumpkins (some tall and tapered, some wider with ridges on top and a more rounded base for the top the mushroom)
