DIY Test Tube Bud Vases

BudVases1 Mother’s Day is less than two weeks away! We’ve been working on some simple, mom-worthy gifts over here and we’re excited to share a few of them with you over the next couple weeks. You can make a whole batch of these bud vases in under ten minutes and give them out to all the moms and grandmas you know! Fill them with a few fresh flowers and they’re sure to love them!
BudVases2What you need:
-Test Tubes (These glass ones would work well.)
-Wood
-Drill
-Hot Glue Gun
*Optional -Miter Saw

How to make it:
If you want your wood block to have more of a geometric feel to it, you can use a miter saw to cut a few different sides off before you drill holes. Measure out where you will want your tubes to go and simply drill holes the size of your test tubes into the wood in those spots. In my set of three, I did the holes at various depths so the test tubes wouldn’t all be the same height. Put some hot glue or super glue at the base of the test tube, put into the drilled hole, and hold in place until it dries. Done!
