Strawberry Banana Popsicles

Strawberry Banana Popsicles with Almond Milk @themerrythoughtNow that things are finally warming up around here (yay!! πŸ™Œ), it’s time to start enjoying delicious frozen treats! Because I have children, and because they’re just fun to eat, popsicles are in pretty steady rotation here during the warm months. I’ve made a few different “healthy” popsicle treats in the past, and I like to keep trying out new flavors to keep the boys interested in eating them. Plus I need to have healthier dessert options around for myself to satisfy my sweet tooth. The frozen bananas in these help to give them a creamier texture and I feel no guilt about letting the kiddos, and myself, gobble these up because they’re basically just fruit!Β They’re a good breakfast-on-the-go option too!Strawberry Banana Popsicles with Almond Milk @themerrythoughtStrawberry Banana Popsicles @themerrythoughtStrawberry Banana Popsicles @themerrythoughtStrawberry Banana Popsicles

3 frozen bananas, broken into pieces
2 cups frozen strawberries (I chop mine, then freeze for easier blending)
1/2 cup almond milk

popsicle mold

Place all ingredients in a food processor and process until smooth and creamy. Pour into popsicle molds and freeze until solid. Makes about 10 popsicles (in the mold linked to above) with a little left over to enjoy as soft serve. πŸ˜‰Healthy Strawberry Banana Popsicles @themerrythoughtStrawberry Banana Popsicles @themerrythought

Natalie Harney - Strawberry and banana always makes me think of summer. When the weather gets warmer, and there’s some room in the freezer, I’ll definitely be making a batch of these, maybes with some coconut sprinkles!
