Fig, Bacon, Goat Cheese & Thyme Crostini

Fig, Bacon, Goat Cheese & Thyme Crostini @themerrythought These crostinis are another recipe that I made for the Fern & Fig Backyard Gathering a couple weeks ago. It’s unreal the amount of these I ate that day. They’re so delicious! Seriously. I made another batch with leftover ingredients the next day and Manda and I devoured them! You just can’t go wrong with anything topped with fresh, crispy bacon.

Baguette (Cut in 1/2″ sections)
1/4 cup Olive Oil
Salt
Pepper

Preheat oven to 350. Combine oil with salt and pepper. Brush light coat on both sides of the baguette and lay on cookie sheet.
Bake for about 10 minutes.

Top each piece with goat cheese, a slice of fresh fig, crumbled bacon and fresh thyme.

Slightly adapted from Just Putzing.
