Here’s a simple, easy way to bring a little bit of autumn to your food table. Use a small pumpkin to put dip in. Just cut the top of your pumpkin off, scoop out all the innards, and fill with a dip. So easy and perfect for your Halloween party!
This dill dip is one of my favorites. Really easy to throw together and really yummy. One of my favorites to dip in it is pretzels. (Hard pretzels obviously – not soft pretzels…we’ll save those to dip in spicy cheese dip or beer cheese! 🙂 )
Dill Dip
1 cup mayonnaise
1 cup sour cream
2 1/2 tablespoons dill weed
1 teaspoon parsley
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon seasoned salt
1 teaspoon dry minced onion
1 teaspoon beau monde*
dash of garlic salt
dash of onion powder
Combine all ingredients and mix together. Chill for a few hours or overnight before serving. Serve with veggies or pretzels.
*Feel free to leave this out if you don’t have any – I know it’s an odd spice to have on hand…
Happy dipping! Manda
