Merry Moments: Adirondacks

“Keep close to Nature’s heart… and break clear away, once in awhile, and climb a mountain or spend a week in the woods. Wash your spirit clean.” John Muir

Sometimes vacation with little ones feels like more work than relaxing. Long car rides, which result in more rounds of Wheels on the Bus than you ever thought possible. New surroundings, which cause little ones to be wide awake hours past their bedtimes. Sharing a room, which causes little ones to cry all hours of the night because they know you’re just feet away. But when I look back over these pictures and see squinty eye smiles… it’s totally worth it. I hope these are memories they will carry with them for the rest of their lives. I hope they will grow to love the outdoors and the mountains just like their parents.
