Last week, I shared that I would start up my weekly check in’s again to help motivate me with my goals of eating better & staying active. This past week was a little rough for me! I felt like there was a lot going on that made eating well and getting my exercise in hard. Along with the normal busyness of life, I was struggling with a sore throat for a few days. Mike was also out of town for a couple days, so I was solo parenting. And then I ended up getting a stomach bug. 😣 Ughhh. So I felt like I didn’t do the best with eating or getting in my normal runs. However, I still lost 2 pounds, so we’ll just focus on that goodness and know that it’s a new week with hopefully less illness and a bit more calm.
Here’s how my week went:
Weight Loss: 2 pounds 🙌
Eating: I had my cheat day last week – I enjoyed every bite of it! 😉 Other than that, I did pretty good with no sugar, but felt like I could have done better with eating overall. Sometimes I find things that don’t have sugar in them and eat a little too much of it – yikes! I also tend to eat more when I’m tired (looking for energy!), and I definitely haven’t been getting enough sleep. Maybe we should dedicate a whole month to getting more sleep – now that’s a challenge I could take on and do extremely well with!
Active: I don’t even know if I went running at all last week. Maybe once. Yikes – that’s pretty unusual for me! I did try to get in more walking though, but I had a couple rather inactive days last week, so I need to step it up!
Arm Work Out: ugh, I only did this one time last week. I guess one is better than none, but still…This week I’m determined to do better!
