Wire Words & Vase Plaque.

In case our Mother’s Day gift ideas from earlier today didn’t inspire you enough, here is a quick DIY project that you could make for your mama this week!

What you need:
-Piece of wood
-Floral wire
-Small jar
-Screws and/or nails
-Pliers with wire cutter
-Screw driver and/or hammer
*Optional  -Glue gun

How to make it:
-Wrap wire around the top of the jar and use another piece of wire to make a handle. Twist together to secure.
-Put a screw on the front of the board to hang the vase from. (Do not screw it in too far or the vase won’t be able to lay flat.)
-Use wire and pliers to form the words. (I chose I love you because it makes more sense than “Happy Mother’s Day” to leave up all year.) Be sure to leave extra wire on each end.
-You can use the extra wire to wrap around to the back of the board.
-Attach the wire by wrapping around short nails that you have nailed into the back of the board or by using hot glue.
-If you want to be able to hang this on the wall, use two screws or nails on the top back corners of the board and put wire in between them. Wrapping it around each of the screws to secure it.
-Add flowers. Hang on wall!
