Tic Tac Toe Valentine

One of my boys favorite things to do is collect stones whenever we go to the lake or the woods (or someone’s driveway…ya know). Malacai is usually the biggest culprit for having his pockets loaded with stones that he just NEEDS to keep!  And I’m constantly finding them around the house, tucked in various odd places (or under my feet!) and they usually end up getting dumped in the gardens around the yard.  I decided to put some of those stones to good use with this nature/game inspired Valentine.

Tic Tac Toe is pretty much a ready made Valentine, I mean it’s x’s and o’s – so perfect! I thought making up a few little pouches, filled with painted stones and a wooden game board would be a fun Valentine for the boys.  They’re also the perfect size to throw in your purse and have on hand for long waits at the doctor’s office, or for an especially restless boy (or two) during church service.
