DIY Lawn Dice

I’ve been going back and forth between the lake and coming home for work this week and I’ve been thoroughly enjoying my time laying out at the lake and playing lawn games with some of my favorite people. And there’s never too many, right? Now you can add all of your favorite dice games to your lawn games with these giant wooden dice! Lincoln is pretty obsessed with them already and he was majorly disappointed that I wouldn’t give him this set after he helped me take some of these photos. Ha! Meanest sister ever.DIY Lawn Dice @themerrythoughtDIY Lawn Dice @themerrythoughtWhat you need:
-4×4
-Miter Saw
-Belt Sander or Palm Sander
-Black Paint
Foam Pouncers
-Clear Coat

-Measure and cut six squares out of the 4×4.
-Use sander to smooth edges and round corners a bit.
-Mark out where the dots will go on each side.
-Use paint and foam pouncers to paint dots and let dry completely.
-Spray or paint on clear finish – use sparingly at first to make sure the paint doesn’t smudge and then apply a second coat.

Grab a bag or basket to carry these around in and shake them up before tossing them.
