DIY Drying Rack

This is one of those projects that I’ve had on my to-make list for quite a while; and every time I did laundry and needed it, would be annoyed that I hadn’t made it yet! Finallyyy it’s made and I’m so glad to have this extra space for drying clothes that can’t go in the dryer! And in the coming months, I know I’ll get more use out of it as I won’t be able to use my clothes line during the freezing months of winter. Currently I’m just using it when I feel too lazy to walk all the way outside! 😏DIY Drying Rack @themerrythought for @homedepotWhen Home Depot asked us to do a DIY Challenge using millworks as our material, I knew this project would be perfect for that! I wanted something that would hold more than just a couple things, be able to move to sunny spots within the house and most importantly, be able to fold up for storage when not in use. It’s also perfect for drying bulkier items (I’m thinking it will be nice in winter to dry the boy’s snow gear) because it has dowels that can move, so you can slide the dowels around to accommodate those items.
