Caitlin @themerrythoughtCaitlin
I live in a little apartment in the same small town I’ve lived in my entire life – there’s a bakery and a bowling alley within walking distance and I’m a-okay with that. I’m a lifetime crafter that thinks that everyone can and should take the time to make things every now and then. I love spending my days hiking, taking photos, and just being with friends and family. Most importantly I’m thankful to live a life being known and loved by my creator and hope to live a life that will make him and his perfect love known.

I live in the countryside with my husband, Mike, and our three boys, Lincoln, Malacai and Levi. Our life is filled with lots of noise, laughter, cups of coffee, endless legos to step on, goldfish & root beer, and trying to catch up on that never-ending to-do list! I am saved by His grace and pursuing His love. I love coffee, a lot. I love to bake. I love white and natural wood, especially together. I love to laugh. I love sleeping. I love to play with my food, mostly while taking photos of it. I love camping and road trips with my love. I love reading. I love spending time with my family. I love Mexican food. And pizza. And donuts. Always donuts. I’m very indecisive. I have surprisingly developed a love for running. I am happiest at home.

I met my bearded mister when I was 17 years old. He still makes me smile every day. We have three little ones who keep us running, laughing and, more often than not, prevent us from sleeping. I believe in a grace filled and loving God. Things that brighten my day: pour over coffee, pinterest, knitting, brussels sprouts, traveling, hiking, camping and anything in the great outdoors.

Christy Kelly - I was thrilled that your DIY painted acorn string was easily located and gave complete instructions. I subscribe to Earth 911 and usually just have time to read it. The Nov 8 email had your acorns pictured. I clicked and it took me to their page about 12 new DIY fall foliage crafts. You were #3. I started with the first one and by the second one I was getting p.o.’d. I spent 30 minutes before I gave up looking. Some folks don’t want to share if you don’t tell them your life story first. I love your site. I love your autobiographies. I’ll be back.ReplyCancel

Brittnay - I stumbed upon your site while looking up DIY swinging beds, I definitely think it was of the Lord. It’s so rare to find positive people/sites online that are crafty yet not pushing something. I’m non-denominational, I believe in sharing the love of Christ and you ladies do it in a way that isn’t pushy, but rather a hey this is who we are. I really admire that. Keep up the excellent work!!ReplyCancel
